DONCASTER ADVOCACY AGM & COMMUNITY FESTIVAL - 14th October 2010
Simon attended the AGM and Community Festival on Thursday 14th October 2010, hosted by Doncaster Advocacy.

Doncaster Advocacy works to encourage and support adults who have a learning disability to 'speak out'. Advocacy is about having information, making choices and being treated as an equal person.

Doncaster Advocacy offers individual issue-based advocacy and drop in sessions at Day Centres.
Self-advocacy groups are supported by staff and volunteers.
Doncaster Advocacy campaigns for accessible information for people to have more say in services they receive.
Simon thoroughly enjoyed the day, he was extremely honoured to be apart of the event.
Joyce Draper the Chair of Doncaster Advocacy said his speech was inspirational and came across so well with the audience… what a hero!
