| Simon attended the AGM and Community Festival on Thursday 14th October 2010, hosted by Doncaster Advocacy. |
Doncaster Advocacy works to encourage and support adults who have a learning disability to 'speak out'.
Advocacy is about having information, making choices and being treated as an equal person. |
| Doncaster Advocacy offers individual issue-based advocacy and drop in sessions at Day Centres. |
| Self-advocacy groups are supported by staff and volunteers. |
| Doncaster Advocacy campaigns for accessible information for people to have more say in services they receive. |
| Simon thoroughly enjoyed the day, he was extremely honoured to be apart of the event. |
| Joyce Draper the Chair of Doncaster Advocacy said his speech was inspirational and came across so well with the audience… what a hero! |
