When Simon Jackson MBE first burst onto the scene in the 1988 Seoul Paralympics he was, in world terms, a relatively unknown player.  His devastating Shoulder throw would quickly become known to potential opponents throughout the judo world, yet despite this, his successes on the dojo demonstrated that Simon had truly mastered this technique.  Since then he has gone on to win many competitions and has gained many accolades including BBC Sports Team Personality 2000.

At JudoJackson Oulder Hill we offer many benefits such as high levels of fitness and stamina, balance and coordination.  These are just a few of the qualities enhanced through the sport of Judo and whilst we don’t teach self-discipline, we do reinforce the positive messages that young people receive from home and school.
The dynamic sessions are enjoyed by an ever growing squad of young people who are supported by a loyal and ever growing band of parents, who are welcomed by the club.
