OULDERHILL JUDO CLUB CELEBRATES A GREAT YEAR!

Some of Oulderhill Judo Club’s members went to Strike it ten for the club’s first Christmas party!

The Club’s coach, Simon Jackson MBE suggested the club celebrated the end of 2010 in style as all of his junior members have achieved great things this year.

The club have also had some great new additions to the club, William Kay-Deline and Zac Whitelaw both only joining the club recently; they are working their way to achieving their first belt.

The club members all had an excellent day at the party, taking part in Laser Quest and Bowling, all portraying great behaviour and supporting one another in the games… Simon said it was a real joy and pleasure watching his members enjoying their Christmas treat, they deserve it!!!!!

If you think your child would like to try a new sport then come and join in with Oulderhill Judo Club, it’s a great family atmosphere with great kids who will make any new comer feel welcome! The club trains on Tuesday evening’s 6.30-7.30pm at Oulderhill School.

THE 2010 AWARDS

Simon would like to congratulate all of his members for all their hard work this year.

Daniel Kelly for winning a silver medal and passing his two gradings, making Danny one step closer to top yellow belt.

Andrew Tighe and Jodie Cullen for attending their first competition both winning a bronze medal, Andrew achieving his yellow belt and Jodie top red belt.

Sam Lloyd for getting the top grade of the junior group, achieving his orange belt this year.

Josh Lloyd, getting one step closer to top yellow belt and Spencer Jones for achieving top red belt.

William Doyle, Lorcan Jackson, George Pierce-Hatzar, Joe Atkinson and Lauren Atkinson for all passing their second stage towards their top red belt.

Mark Cullen, Ethan Dale, Callum Dolan and Daisy Denby have done brilliantly this year. They have all progressed from white belt to red belt.
